Introducing CTO Rescue

CEO Technical Help

A hands-on rescue service for SaaS CEOs and business leaders when technology is blocking growth.

Hi, my name is Bill, and I’ve launched a new service called CTO Rescue — a specialist offering for CEOs who feel their technology is no longer helping the business move forward.

When the product won’t ship.

Sometimes, a software product reaches a point where progress slows to a crawl — releases stall, bugs multiply, and teams seem stuck. I step in to stabilize and fix a buggy product that cannot ship, uncovering the root causes, putting clear engineering practices in place, and restoring the team’s confidence in delivery.

When tech and product are out of alignment.

Many growing companies reach a point where product and technology drift apart — priorities conflict, communication breaks down, and customers feel it. I help realign tech and product so they work as one system again: with shared goals, transparent planning, and measurable delivery outcomes.

When tech needs to serve the business — not the other way around.

Over time, it’s easy for a business to find itself working for the technology, rather than the technology working for the business. CTO Rescue helps you reset that balance — ensuring every system, process, and technical decision supports strategic goals and commercial outcomes.

Why I started CTO Rescue

After years as a CTO working with SaaS companies of all sizes, I’ve seen one pattern again and again: leaders get stuck when technology stops serving the mission. They’re surrounded by technical jargon, conflicting advice, and complex systems — and need someone who can cut through it with clarity, objectivity, and action.

CTO Rescue was created to provide that — a direct, experienced intervention when tech delivery or alignment becomes the barrier to business success.

My background

I’ve spent over 25 years building and leading technology teams — from engineering and architecture through to strategy and operations. My experience spans startups, scale-ups, and large enterprises, and I’m certified in software development, architecture, and service delivery.

More importantly, I’ve learned that technology success is not just about code — it’s about people, communication, and focus.
